install on other namespace

i would like the operator to be installed once in the cluster and be able to create a mondb database in different namespaces without having to re-install the operator on these namespaces. Similar to other operator like postgres-zalando.
Is that possible. I tried to change the namespace of the cr.yaml but the operator (in a different namespace)

I’d like this too.this scenario works for other CRD/Operators but not for psmdb. I guess it  doesn’t watch the alternate namespace.
