innodb_data_home_dir

I added the

innodb_data_home_dir = /MySQLData

option in the my.cfg file and now Percona Server wont start. If I comment it out, the server starts fine. This dir has full mysql user permissions. Cannot figure this out no matter what I try. Normal MySql server works fine using the same dir??

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Can you provide the MySQL error log content while starting MySQL with above option? Also list of partitions are available on that server will be helpful.
