We have a few db nodes which were cutting it close before pmm2. Now that we added pmm2 it seems node_exporter really takes up a lot of memory. Too much to be sustainable. Is there a way via pmm to limit how impactful node_exporter is?
Currently, there is no way. However, we don’t expect node_exporter to consume a lot of memory. May you provide more details?
Hi,
There was request few weeks ago refer disabling node_exporter →

Hi,
Unfortunately @adivinho that doesn’t seem to work when not using /etc/init.d files. If using the systemd files it seems to make no difference as to whether you change that file with those commands. stopping it first.
How much memory does it take ? And how do you check that ?
It should take pretty much trivial amount.
