Can put 2 cluster nodes in on-prem and another cluster node in Cloud?

Hi Experts,

trying to understand if it is possible to deploy 2 Percona Xtradb cluster nodes in on-prem datacenter and another node in Cloud? Need to understand what is the latency requirements for this? Search for documents but did not find any.

Possible? Yes. Advisable? Absolutely not. PXC uses synchronous replication. An INSERT on node1 will block/wait until the transaction has been replicated to the other two nodes. The latency number doesn’t matter, but your write speed will suffer. The slowest link between any two nodes is your limitation.
