After enabling Pitr in pxc-operator, what value should binlog_expire_logs_seconds be configured to?
There is no strict restriction on choosing the binlog_expire_logs_seconds value. It should be defined based on your retention policy. However, you must ensure that the retention period is sufficient to support Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR). If the PITR process is delayed, stuck, or fails, the binlogs must still be available so that PITR can resume from the last uploaded binlog file. If the required binlog files are purged before PITR resumes, you will need to take a fresh full backup.
