# XtraDb Cluster w/ Xtrabackup Incrementals.

Can I take incremental xtrabackups from a different node from the one that I took the original full backup? Or is there no gaurantee that LSNs will match, thus breaking xtrabackup incrementals?

No, you cannot. Despite the fact that each node has the same data, it is also true that each node has it’s own independent internal InnoDB structures.
