# xtrabackup: Error: Failed to find information for channel 'group\_replication\_applier' in SHOW SLAVE

I am using InnoDB cluster and want to use xtrabackup for backup.  
Cluster details:Mysql 3 node’s (mysql&nbsp; Ver 8.0.20 for Linux on x86\_64 (MySQL Community Server - GPL)  
Xtrabackup version.:Tried with both 8.0.12 and 8.0.14  
OS:Centos7  
  
Let me know if required any other details.  
facing below error.:
