# Will MySQL Group Replication works in Percona MySQL distribution.

Yes, Percona Server fully inherits Group Replication from Oracle MySQL.&nbsp; You should also check out Percona XtraDB Cluster if you are shopping around for a clustering solution.

They are two different products, two different approaches to the same problem, synchronous or nearly synchronous replication within a cluster for achieving high availability.&nbsp; [Percona XtraDB Cluster (PXC)](https://www.percona.com/doc/percona-xtradb-cluster/LATEST/index.html)is a Percona product based on [Coderships Galera Cluster](https://galeracluster.com/ "Link: https://galeracluster.com/").&nbsp; It is not practical or possible to offer a comparison in a forum post, but there are several blog posts out in the wild reviewing one or the other and sometimes both.&nbsp;&nbsp;
