# Why does the size of the xtraback Docker image grow so quickly?

tag 8.3 is less than 200MB, while tag 8.4 is close to 400MB, doubling in size. when I pulled to local, the image is more than 1.4G.

Hi Kymo,

Docker image _percona/percona-xtrabackup:8.3_ is based on **ubi8** but **ubi9** is used for _percona-xtrabackup:8.4_
