# When will PS 8.0.30 be released

Hi, since MySQL 8.0.29 has critical issue and no longer available any more ([MySQL :: MySQL 8.0 Release Notes :: Changes in MySQL 8.0.29 (2022-04-26, General Availability)](https://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql/8.0/en/news-8-0-29.html)), the PS-8.0.29 may also have problem.

So, when PS will release the 8.0.30, or the team have any plan to fix the issue on 8.0.29 ?

We fixed the issue before we released PS and PXB 8.0.29. If you are using Percona Server 8.0.29 and/or Percona XtraBackup 8.0.29, you are not at risk of the InnoDB corruption issues or of taking a bad backup. I just installed 8.0.29 last week on debian 10 - the problem persists. Xtrabackups is failing for the first time in many years. Problem not fixed and cannot downgrade and .30 is not released for debian 10 is not available on the downloads page for debian 10 and has that semaphore bug. ???
