# Question: possible "found too many connections" in the past from mysql servers?

Hi,  
I am new with PMM.  
I have a PMM installation with over 300 MySQL servers.

It’s possible to find out with PMM which MySQL server has an error like this “ERROR 1040 (HY000): Too many connection” in the past?

Any idea to find this servers?  
Or it is better to use ansible/grep and search on error.log

Hi @tomcat667

PMM is not parsing logs. Metrics are collected by exporters that are fetching current data from services.  
So you may check only data that were collected since an exporter is configured and started.
