# PXC support IPv6?

Now we will change our PXC cluster to support IPv6 Protocol Stack.  
Can you tell me if these ports such as 4444/4567/4568 support IPv6?

The protocols used in IPv6 are the same as IPv4. So port range remains unchanged. You should read this wiki for more details. [IPv6 - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6#Addressing)

Just adding to what @Wayne_Leutwyler aptly highlighted - we’ve had this question come up before on the forums and since then we’ve released PXC 8.0.27 which now includes support for IPv6 via SST, so if you are on latest version of PXC then you should be able to properly set up your cluster on either ipv4 or ipv6.
