# pt-table-sync and GTIDs

Hello all, I am having an issue with using pt-table-sync with ENFORCE\_GTID\_CONSISTENCY. Since you can’t use temporary tables in a transaction with GTIDs, pt-table-sync will fail when it tries to create a temporary table called “\_\_maatkit\_char\_chunking\_map”. Has any one else encountered this issue?
