Hi
Is the Percona pg\_tde extension usable with the community editions of PostgreSQL?

Hi,
At this point in time, pg\_tde is only available with Percona PostgreSQL. That being said the long term goal is to make it compatible with community postgres.

Hi,

> Do you mean , at the moment it is not possible to use percona pg\_tde with postgreSQL community open source edition ?

Yes, that is correct. Because pg\_tde is such a radical and substantive piece of technology key updates are required to the base code. And at this time we are actively working with the community in this regard.

FYI: Otherwise Percona PostgreSQL is virtually the same as the community version.

Hope this helps.

regards

Robert
