Hello,

The latest version of Percona Server 5.7 available on github is 5.7.44-53:

> **[GitHub - percona/percona-server at Percona-Server-5.7.44-53](https://github.com/percona/percona-server/tree/Percona-Server-5.7.44-53)**
>
> Percona-Server-5.7.44-53

5.7.44-54 is not yet available:

Version 5.7.44-54 was released at the end of May 2025 (roughly 7 months ago) according to it’s release notes and since then versions 5.7.44-55 and 5.7.44-56 have also been released. When will these releases be available in github?

Thank You

Hi @legumes ,

The support for the 5.7 version ended in November 2023 (for both Percona Server for MySQL and the community edition). Percona provides paid support through our [Post EOL MySQL 5.7 Support – Not ready to give up MySQL 5.7](https://www.percona.com/post-mysql-5-7-eol-support)

You should upgrade to 8.0 and then to 8.4.

Thanks,

Kedar

Hello Kedar,

Thank you, I understand that is the case for the compiled binaries, but Percona posted that they will release the post eol source for the community to consume themselves (which has happened so far with versions 5.7.44-49 - 5.7.44-53 as you can see on github).

This is the statement I am referring to:

> MySQL 5.7. Community Edition
> Percona will release fixes in the open source code for Percona Server that you can adopt. You will have to build
> binaries yourself. For complete EOL support, migrate to Percona Server 5.7.

Which you can find here:
