# Percona Server for MySQL 5.5.55-38.8 is Now Available

Perconaannounces the release of [Percona Server for MySQL](https://www.percona.com/software/percona-server) 5.5.55-38.8 on May 10, 2017. Based on [MySQL 5.5.55](http://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql/5.5/en/news-5-5-55.html), including all the bug fixes in it, Percona Server for MySQL 5.5.55-38.8 is now the current stable release in the 5.5 series.

Percona Server for MySQL is open-source and free. You can find release details in the [5.5.55-38.8 milestone](https://launchpad.net/percona-server/+milestone/5.5.55-38.8) on Launchpad. Downloads are available [here](https://www.percona.com/downloads/Percona-Server-5.5/) and from the [Percona Software Repositories](https://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.5/installation.html#installing-from-binaries). [_]Queries from the [INNODB\_CHANGED\_PAGES](https://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.5/management/changed_page_tracking.html#INNODB_CHANGED_PAGES) table would needlessly read potentially incomplete bitmap data past the needed LSN range.
