# Percona Server for MySQL 5.5.54-38.6 is now available

Perconaannounces the release of [Percona Server for MySQL](https://www.percona.com/software/percona-server) 5.5.54-38.6 on February 1, 2017. Based on [MySQL 5.5.54](http://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql/5.5/en/news-5-5-54.html), including all the bug fixes in it, Percona Server for MySQL 5.5.54-38.6 is now the current stable release in the 5.5 series.

Percona Server for MySQL is open-source and free. You can find release details in the [5.5.54-38.6 milestone](https://launchpad.net/percona-server/+milestone/5.5.54-38.6) on Launchpad.
