# Percona Server 5.5.52-38.3 is now available

Percona announces the release of [Percona Server](https://www.percona.com/software/percona-server) 5.5.52-38.3 on October 5, 2016. Based on [MySQL 5.5.52](http://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql/5.5/en/news-5-5-52.html), including all the bug fixes in it, Percona Server 5.5.52-38.3 is now the current stable release in the 5.5 series.

Percona Server is open-source and free. You can find release details of the release in the [5.5.52-38.3 milestone](https://launchpad.net/percona-server/+milestone/5.5.52-38.3) on Launchpad.
