Hello Team, We need to perform physical backup and restore in order to setup new similar cluster. Destination: MongoDB - Percona : 5.0.28 PBM version: 2.6.0 OS: VERSION=“24.04.3 LTS (Noble Numbat)” 3 Shards (3 replica set each), mongos, and 3 config Destination: where we are trying to restore: same replicaset name, similar architecture Error: 2025-11-03T13:18:31Z I [rs/ip:port] [restore/2025-11-03T13:18:19.612399737Z] waiting for cluster 2025-11-03T13:19:01Z W [rs/ip:port] [agent Checkup] storage is not initialized ---

Hi and welcome to our Forum! Most likely, you’ve not added a remote storage properly. PBM requires shared storage (all nodes need to see the same volume or bucket). Please check the steps to [add a remote storage](https://docs.percona.com/percona-backup-mongodb/install/backup-storage.html#procedure) for more details. ---

That’s the problem - each RS member should have a mounted storage to the same remote destination. ---
