# Older backups are not getting deleted, with the keep argument specified

thanks! This is indeed related to [Backup files are not deleted from Azure blob storage - #8 by Sergey\_Pronin](https://forums.percona.com/t/backup-files-are-not-deleted-from-azure-blob-storage/34200/8)

We have this JIRA issue to track it: [Issue navigator - Percona JIRA](https://perconadev.atlassian.net/issues/K8SPSMDB-1180)

We see the issue in the latest (1.17) version of the operator, but not in 1.16.
