We are excited to announce the release of **PBM 2.14.0**! This update brings significant performance boosts for Minio-compatible remote storage, smoother encryption workflows, and a key safety update for restore operations.

☀ Release Highlights

- **Faster S3 Uploads:** Leveraging the MinIO SDK, PBM now supports **concurrent streaming parts**. This significantly improves throughput and efficiency when uploading large backup files to S3-compatible storage.

- **Interactive Restore Safety:** To prevent accidental data loss, `pbm restore` now requires **interactive confirmation**.

- **Enhanced Encryption Support:** PBM now automatically captures the master encryption key identifier for databases using external KMS providers (Vault/KMIP), making restores seamless without manual key tracking.

- **Reliable Physical Restores:** Improvements to PITR ensure oplog entries are applied across all replica set nodes, maintaining data consistency.

🗝 Key Improvements & Fixes

- **PBM-1598:** New `backup.timeouts.balancerStop` setting to prevent operations from hanging during long chunk migrations.

- **PBM-1703:** Squashed redundant 404 error logs in S3 storage for cleaner logging.

- **PBM-1345/1472:** Fixed critical bugs related to PITR slicer failures and bucket path formatting.
