Hi,

We are using Percona MySQL 5.6.27 version for our production environment. We have allocated 320GB of RAM and buffer\_pool\_size is 192GB. When the application is running memory usage is reached up to 192GB or 200GB max. Later it doesn’t comes down even we stopped entire application. Every time we used to restart MySQL service to reduce the RAM usage. Is MySQL normally behaves like this or do we need to optimize anything. Please help us.

Thanks,
Srini

AFAIK, it is like that, so be mindful of your settings
