# Mysql replication connection issues when enabling ssl on replication

→ i tried to enable ssl on replication using below

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL = 1 ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_CA = ‘/opt/perconadata/ca.pem’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_CERT = ‘/opt/perconadata/client-cert.pem’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_KEY = ‘/opt/perconadata/client-key.pem’ ;

→ the above worked and it also changed Master\_SSL\_Allowed from ‘No’ to ‘Yes’

→ i then received Last\_IO\_Errno: 2026, i resolved this by below

**CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_BIND = ‘172.20.149.15’ ;**

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_HOST = ‘172.20.149.15’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_PORT = 7306 ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_USER = ‘repl’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_PASSWORD = ‘Hypo^43d4Rde’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL = 1 ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_CA = ‘/opt/perconadata/ca.pem’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_CERT = ‘/opt/perconadata/client-cert.pem’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_KEY = ‘/opt/perconadata/client-key.pem’ ;

→ i then received Last\_IO\_Errno: 2003, i resolved this by below

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_BIND = ‘172.20.149.15\*\*:7306\*\*’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_HOST = ‘172.20.149.15’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_PORT = 7306 ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_USER = ‘repl’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_PASSWORD = ‘Hypo^43d4Rde’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL = 1 ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_CA = ‘/opt/perconadata/ca.pem’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_CERT = ‘/opt/perconadata/client-cert.pem’ ;

CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER\_SSL\_KEY = ‘/opt/perconadata/client-key.pem’ ;

→ I then received Last\_IO\_Errno: 2005, i am now stuck, any help?
