# Mongodb cluster, external load balancer created

Hello

Why does the cr.yaml script generate external load balancer (with external IPs) by default. Is there a way to **disable** it or is this required for a working cluster ?

Set in cr.yaml → expose=false

Hello @jamoser ,

that is strange, but by default exposure for ReplicaSets is disabled.  
Please see here: [percona-server-mongodb-operator/cr.yaml at main · percona/percona-server-mongodb-operator · GitHub](https://github.com/percona/percona-server-mongodb-operator/blob/main/deploy/cr.yaml#L96-L97)

It seems that you have enabled it before.
