# MongoDB 8 + arm support?

Hi,
I couldn’t find it anywhere else, is there an ETA for the MongoDB 8 release? Also will arm64 (graviton) packages be available when it is released?

Hey @Drew! We should have MongoDB 8 this quarter (November-December). I don’t see any reason why ARM will not be there.

Can you give us any update on this, it appears to be delayed?
I can see from the version compatibility docs that the latest operator 1.18.0 released on November 14th only has support for MongoDB version 5.0-7.0

Hi, yes. We’ve found out a blocking issue in PMM that was unable to report metrics. This was because some metric names has changed their name.
I was not publishing an update here as until now it was not clear when we will be able to release. Currently we still to release PSMDB 8 before Xmas - mid December, together with a new patch of PMM.

Hello,
What are the plans at Percona with MongoDB 8 LDAP auth deprecation ?
MongoDB deprecated the LDAP authentication from version 8, and it will be desupported in the next main MongoDB version: [https://www.mongodb.com/docs/manual/core/LDAP-deprecation/#std-label-ldap-deprecation](https://www.mongodb.com/docs/manual/core/LDAP-deprecation/#std-label-ldap-deprecation)
Will percona follow this behaviour ?
