# Mongo,mysql,postgres

Team,  
We have mongo,mysql and postgres databases in our environment. We are using percona distribution for both mongo and mysql. We request you to share us a technical doc for setting up ldap authentication and how to setup a ldap server what auth mechanism to be used and how do i connect my db to ldap. A simple documentation would help us in arriving at a solution.

Do you or anyone have any link or documentation to setup an ldap server adding users and enabling authentication from the database servers using the ldap server.

Hello @sharaths_81,  
Percona does not support LDAP servers so we do not have documentation for setup and administration of LDAP. If you do not know how to do this, I might suggest that LDAP is not the solution you need for your environment. If you still feel you need LDAP, there are many HOWTOs available via google search.
