# master-master replication fails on "duplicate partition name" error

Hi,

Server version: 5.6.25-73.1-log Percona Server (GPL), Release 73.1, Revision 07b797f  
High load database, master-master cross replication between two nodes on innodb tables, innodb\_file\_per\_table is on, binary format is row.  
At least one time at day, the both slaves fail to run on statement "Error ‘Duplicate partition name p20150818’ on query. Default database: ‘db’. Query: ‘ALTER TABLE fc\_ticks REORGANIZE PARTITION pmax INTO ( PARTITION p20150818 VALUES LESS THAN(1439931600), PARTITION pmax VALUES LESS THAN( MAXVALUE ) )’  
It’s similar to [URL][MySQL Bugs: #47343: InnoDB fails to clean-up after lock wait timeout on REORGANIZE PARTITION](https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=47343%5B/URL%5D) and I can reproduce this error on my test nodes, but replication does not fail in my case.  
Any ideas? I’m in stuck.

Hi JuriM ,  
I had the same issue like yours with “duplicate partition name” and I can’t find a solution,I want to check if you did solve your problem.
