# Libperconaserverclient21-dev doesn't ship mysqlclient.pc (pkg-config)

libperconaserverclient21-dev seems to not ship mysqlclient.pc for some reason, even though it is still in the source tree.

This package contains mysql\_config, but some bindings switched to using pkg-config: [Package installation fails after new release v2.2.0 · PyMySQL/mysqlclient · Discussion #624 · GitHub](https://github.com/PyMySQL/mysqlclient/discussions/624)

Is there a bug in the PS 8.0 packaging?
