# Init scripts

Hi  
Installed the cluster software yesterday. The configuration and setup was seemless apart from the restart scripts.

This is what i mean  
The start,stop and restart calls like

service mysql start seems to fail when we run,while in the background they seem to be doing their job properly.

service mysql stop never seems to work

Is there a different init script that is available to make this seemless?
