# Info To Share When Asking For Help

When asking for help or advice, provide as much context as possible such as:
1. **_Overview_** - A summary of the problem & what help you’re seeking.
2. **_Software Used_** - Product Names, Versions, OS.
3. **_Environment_** - Production, Test, or Development.
4. **_Recent Changes_** - Upgrades, Configurations, New Processes.
5. **_Relevant Files_** - Configurations, Logs, Errors.
6. **_Interactions_** - Command Strings, Error Messages.
7. **_Stability_** - Did problem occur in a previously stable system?
8. **_Persistence_** - Is problem consistent or intermittent?
Including these details will make it easier and quicker for someone to help you.
