# Incremental cluster update

Hi All

We have a percona cluster where 1x of the nodes has crashed multiple times without any obvious reason. I’ve given the server a thorough check over and hardware/filesystems etc all look healthy.

It’s running quite an old version of Percona 5.6.x so looking at upgrading it. I just want to check there are no problems with running different minor versions of percona in the same cluster, so I can upgrade them incrementally? Assume it follows the usual MySQL rules, so as long as its still 5.6.xx there should be no issues?

Current version: Percona-XtraDB-Cluster-client-56-5.6.15-25.4.731.rhel6  
Latest version: Percona-XtraDB-Cluster-client-56-5.6.30-25.16.3.el6.x86\_64

I’m curious about this as well. I assume it will be fine, but want to verify before I go for it.
