# i don't understand the key slave\_running in templates for zabbix

i am using version 1.1.5, and use the template for zabbix.

when i check the graph of MySQL Replication, i fount the key of running-slave allways be 0. so i check ss\_get\_mysql\_stats.php, show like below:

…  
$status[‘slave\_lag’] = $row[‘seconds\_behind\_master’];  
…

# Scale slave\_running and slave\_stopped relative to the slave lag.

## $status[‘slave\_running’] = ($row[‘slave\_sql\_running’] == ‘Yes’) ? $status[‘slave\_lag’] : 0; $status[‘slave\_stopped’] = ($row[‘slave\_sql\_running’] == ‘Yes’) ? 0 : $status[‘slave\_lag’];

if slave\_sql\_running allways ‘yes’, slave\_running will be slave\_lag, and if slave\_sql\_running == no, then slave\_stopped will be empty?

And i find another key running-slave.

So, my question is what’s slave\_running and slave\_stopped really means?
