# How to take backups of oplog when full backup is in progress?

One of our Mongo replica set full backups takes more than 15 hours and PITR backup doesn’t happen when a full backup is in progress.

This essentially reduces our PITR window as we can restore only before the backup starts in case of disaster. Is there any configuration option to keep taking oplog backup on the specified interval even the full backup is in progress?
