# How to specify vault namespace when create key provider?

We are using hvault with a dedicated namespace. How can we specify the namespace when creating TDE key provider and key?

Hello @Stanley_Tam !

Thank you for your question, right now you cannot explicitly set the namespace in `pg_tde` but support for explicit namespaces is on our roadmap for a future release.

Hi @Stanley_Tam I am happy to share that we have planned it now and hope to have it ready for the upcoming minor update in Q4!

Hope this helps, when it’s available we’d love some feedback how did you find the implementation.
