# How can I restore

Dear Professoinals; I’m just new here. Currently, mysql (oracle)+Joomla is running on the system. I plan to migrate from mysql (oracle) to Percona database.  
I plan to do as follows.

1. The source mysql (oracle) version is 5.6.25
2. The target mysql (Percona) version should be 5.7

In this case, I am not sure it is possible to restore the database between different DB version. Well, the product should be the same right?

Please let me know.
