# help: is there any way to perform a backup/restore on a Win7 64bit server ?

I’ve installed MySQL and MariaDB on two different pc each running win7 64bit (for test pourpose).
Can anyone tell me wich tool to make hot backup/restore on these server ?
No sqldump pleqase, I suppose that database size will be large soon (more than 5Gb / month).

Since Windows 7 would not be your production server support platform( I hope) then you need to look at that. I would recommend you running your production on Linux anyway but I understand that lack of skills to support Linux might be a drawback. If it is a VM and on VMware you might be able to use snapshot and then do crash recovery as a method of full backups.
Otherwise commercial tools might be your only choice and that could be expensive
