# \[feature request\]is there any plan to support limiting the copy speed?

when taking full backup, xtrabackup needs to copy all data files,  
and at that time, the i/o util on mysql server will getting close to 100%, network bindwidth too,  
which may impact mysql usage, and we get lots of alert.  
so i wonder if there is a plan to add a new parameter like --chunk-time which is similar to pt-osc,  
so we can limit the copy speed.
