# Error when install percona xtradb 57

hi,  
im val,

i need to upgrade my pxc from 56 to 57 without removing data dir,  
i do this step :

1. Make sure that all nodes are synchronized \>\>\>clustercheck
2. Stop mysql \>\>\> /etc/init.d/mysql stop
3. Remove config \>\>\> rm -rf /etc/mysql/my.cnf\*
4. install percona \>\> apt-get install percona-xtradb-cluster-57

when i intstall i get msg error :

Job for mysql.service failed. See ‘systemctl status mysql.service’ and ‘journalctl -xn’ for details.  
invoke-rc.d: initscript mysql, action “start” failed.  
dpkg: error processing package percona-xtradb-cluster-server-5.7 (–configure):

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of percona-xtradb-cluster-57:  
percona-xtradb-cluster-57 depends on percona-xtradb-cluster-server-5.7 (\>= 5.7.25-31.35-1.jessie); however:  
Package percona-xtradb-cluster-server-5.7 is not configured yet.

dpkg: error processing package percona-xtradb-cluster-57 (–configure):  
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured  
Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.19-18+deb8u10) …  
Processing triggers for systemd (215-17+deb8u7) …  
Errors were encountered while processing:  
percona-xtradb-cluster-server-5.7  
percona-xtradb-cluster-57

would you help me to solve this ??

If you did, and you are still encountering these problems… [LIST=1]  
[_]Could you upload the mysql.conf files for each node please?  
[_]Also log file(s) and details of the server environment you are on?
