Let’s install and try out a new package for PostgreSQL — [PG\_TDE](https://docs.percona.com/pg-tde/index.html) by Percona. This extension adds Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), a mechanism that allows data to be encrypted at the storage level without affecting application behavior.
