# Easy way to change database user for PMM client?

Hi,

Is there a way to change the user the PMM client uses to connect to the database with ?  
sudo pmm-admin add mysql --slow-log-rotation=true --retain-slow-logs=0 --user --password

or do i need to remove/add the client ?

Hello @Catoman,  
I believe the username/password info is stored here: /usr/local/percona/pmm2/pmm-agent.yml If you can’t find it, then the simplest solution is to remove/add the client.

Hi Matthew,

In /usr/local/percona/pmm2/config/pmm-agent.yaml i have only found the username/password for the PMM server itself.  
I’m going with removing/adding the client
