# Configuring mongodb LDAP enabled on ubuntu22.04

Followed percona server for mongodb documentation and started mongod with LDAP enabled. Succuessfully test LDAP connection using testsaslauthd. Getting authentication failed error when trying to connect mongo shell using user created on external database. Any help, much appreciated.
