# Can we do streaming and logical replication in postgresql at same time?

Hi,  
I want a slave to replicate the data from master using streaming replication and want that slave to act as a publisher to other slaves and do logical replication between them. Is this setup possible?

Hi,

PostgreSQL at this time does not have the ability to logically replicate from a slave. Instead you’ll have to replicate from the master.
