Hello, i have a cluster with 3 nodes, the bin-log files is too big in the 3 nodes, and i don’t use for a backup recovery scenario, can i just set:

> [@](#):
>
> SET GLOBAL expire\_logs\_days = 3;

For the mysql purge the logs? For cluster, this is my wsrep.cnf file

> [@](#):
>
> wsrep\_sst\_method=xtrabackup-v2

And for the existing bin-logs, i can run the command below?

> [@](#):
>
> PURGE BINARY LOGS TO `mysql-bin.000223`;

Thanks so much. Regards,

You do not need binary logs for Percona XtraDB Cluster, you can purge them all.
Binary logs are only needed for backups and point-in-time recovery.
