I noticed the default value for auto\_increent\_increment is 3 in my cluster where it is normally 1 using basic Mysql. Is this a function of the Percona Cluster software? My cluster size is 3. I have tried to change it to 1 in the my.cnf file but it has no effect (after restart). I can change it using Mysql\>’ set global…’ but it does not persist obviously. I understand why this is useful in a Master-Slave situation but feel like it is not necessary with the cluster setup.

Hello Mikem, indeed the auto increment are normally controlled via the option you mention. Having different values per-node can be useful to debug where a transaction came from.
