Having finally managed to get the audit\_log\_filter component to work with MySQL 8.4, I downloaded the new version of MySQL 8.4.9, and now it doesn’t work again. In fact it just causes the database to crash.

I appreciate that this version of MySQL was only released a few days ago, so hopefully there will be a new version of the audit\_log\_filter released in due course that allows it to work again. How do I go about logging this as a bug (can I even log it as a bug considering it is for Oracle MySQL, not Percona MySQL?)

Hi @IGGt. We only recommend using the audit log filter component with Percona Server for MySQL. You can report the crash here - [https://jira.percona.com/](https://jira.percona.com/). However, unless it also crashes on PS, it will most likely not be considered a bug.
