Hello, I came across this article that dates back to 2019:

> **[Percona Responds to MySQL LOCAL INFILE Security Issues - Percona Database...](https://www.percona.com/blog/2019/02/06/percona-responds-to-mysql-local-infile-security-issues/)**
>
> In this post, we'll cover what we think about the current MySQL community discussion happening around MySQL LOCAL INFILE security issues.

It says that there is a potential vulnerabilty vector when using stock Mysql, even in version 8.0

The article also mentions that Percona 5.6 and 5.7 are robust and not subject to the vulnerability issues, but says nothing of 8.0 (no doubt because Percona had yet to release 8.0 at the time of the article).

Can someone confirm that Percona 8.0 is not vulnerable in the same way? (I imagine it is the case, but just to certain). Updating the article with this information would be a good thing to 🙂
