# About proxysql ldap plugin

Proxysql configures the ldap plugin:  
ldap\_auth\_plugin=“/path/to/MySQL\_LDAP\_Authentication\_plugin.so”  
Where does the MySQL\_LDAP\_Authentication\_plugin.so come from?  
Does it need to be compiled in before use it?
