How can I turn on the tablestats option?

When I was using pmm-admin to add a monitoring instance(mysql 5.7) to the server, I found that the tablestats option was turned off by default. Why?
And I did not find the option to force open tablestats.
How can I turn on the tablestats option?

pmm-admin OUTPUT:

mysql:metrics tms_mysql_8041_prod 42002 YES root:***@unix(/usr/local/mysql/mysql.sock) tablestats=OFF
