pt-table-sync usage help

cenkorecenkore EntrantCurrent User Role Beginner
My pt-table-sync version : pt-table-sync 2.2.20

What's the meaning of `disable waiting entirely (except for locks)` , Is there any impact or risk if i specify --wait 0 ? Becuz i use change master to master_delay for disaster recovery in my replication .

I shouldn't affect, but you won't be able to check if the servers are in sync.

In my test , -wait 0 would be lock all difference chunks, and unlock at the end . i.e. lock chunk 1 , lock chunk 2 ,lock chunk 3 , unlock all . And if you not disable wait ,it would be lock chunk 1 , unlock chunk 1 , lock chunk 2 , unlock chunk 2 , lock chunk 3 ,unlock chunk 3.
