Hi All,

is there a way to install pmm client on FreeBSD or how can I monitor a MySQL server running on FreeBSD from remote?

Kind Regards,

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we didn't test pmm-client on FreeBSD, I think it won't work out of the box.
We may add support for FreeBSD if there is a demand.

Currently, you can monitor if from Linux box, however not system metrics (called linux:metrics) as it requires local filesystem access.
You can monitor mysql:queries with perfschema query source and mysql:metrics w/o problems.

Simply add those 2 services specifying --host flag pointing to remote machine.
